Here at the Sheffield Therapy Centre and Mark Roe Sports Physio Academy, it is not all take - we like to try and give something back too.  EvenLiam Cameron - Boxing Injuries Sheffield Physiotherapist as a small company, we try to do as much as we can for our local community.  In particular, we like to support our youth sports sector and have run our "Sponsor a Sports Star" competition for two consecutive years.  For 2010, Liam Cameron an up-and-coming local boxer from Manor Top is receiving free physiotherapy treatments, assessments and tailored programmes to help him through the ranks.  Liam is doing extremely well and is tipped as one to watch by Sheffield's Dennis Hobson.

Becky Mayo - Sheffield Ice-Skating Injury - PhysiotherapyIn 2009, we supported Becky Mayo with free Physiotherapy to help her in her bid to return to competitive ice-skating.  Becky suffered many set-backs with serious injuries to her shins which needed several operations.  With the Physiotherapy support she received at Sheffield Therapy Centre, she has recently returned to the ice-rink and is competing again.  Fingers crossed she can climb the British rankings.  Good luck Becky!  You know who you can dedicate your medals too!

We also subsidise sports physiotherapy for all clubs or teams that register with us by providing them with money off vouchers for their players and members.  There is no obligation to use us and there are no tie-in - it is a simple money off scheme for those teams that register.  The added bonus is that we will also place each entry form into a prize-draw for sponsorship.  This years winners were drawn by the former Prime Minister's Ambassador for the World Cup Bid , Richard Caborn.Richard Caborn - Sports Injuries and Sports Physio Sheffield  Here Richard is launching the Mark Roe Sports Physio Academy and announcing the winners of the sponsorship (Woodhouse West End WMC) which was featured in the Sheffield Star.
